First I'll start out by saying that this emergency kit was not my idea, but I loved it so much, I made one for myself. It first took shape in an Altoids can because I didn't have a filter box. It then made it's way into a small canvas first aide kit that I picked up at Staples. It had velcro straps that I used to attach it to the strap of my camera bag. It was a bit too bulky for my liking. I finally found a filter case that was just like the one in the original post and that is what you will see in my video. Take note that this was the first video I created, so it's a little rough.
Now, to give credit where credit is due, I got this idea from a post on Derrick Story's website. Seems he inspired a few folks to do this as I found another video on YouTube by Stefan Rusche and he made his own version of the kit as well.
If you have a photography emergency/survival kit you would like to share, please post it in the comments. I'd love to see what you've come up with.
